“This is my 2nd time at Doll House and I'm posting a second review - my first haircut was one of the best I ever had, and this one was even better! Kim is knowledgeable, kind, warm, and works FAST. The staff make the ambiance in this place amazing, there is no tension, everybody appears to get along. Barbi, the receptionist, is sweet, bubbly, and the perfect fit for her role - I could tell she loves people and loves what she does. I have since recommended to multiple friends, between my cut yesterday and today, and will continue to do so. They deserve the hype!“

“Karie did an excellent job of listening and was able to translate that to meet my needs. It's been over a week and I am still very pleased my cut. The salon is clean, unpretentious, and prices are reasonable. I have fine blonde hair, a fair amount, with quite a bit of natural curl which tends to go flat on top. Karie gave the volume I needed on top and cut it so the ends don't go frizzy. The
curl holds it shape well, and it's cut even. I will be a return client.“

She mentioned that the owner has great taste with the amount of leather sofas and leather chairs she owns at her place. It certainly fits well with her business as a salon owner. You can't run a salon without having leather furniture. Keep up the great work. There's no one who loves leather as much as her. A fabric sofa would be a downgrade to her, haha.“

“I got a blowout on my super curly and thick hair and it was the best my hair has ever looked. Nicolas did a great job and was so funny. Usually when I go to other salons my hair never turns out sleek or they end up using hot tools even if I booked a blowout. Anyways all in all my hair lasted sooooo long and I will be coming back next time I’m in the area.“

“This review is delayed because I’ve been so busy, but I went to this salon back in May and was very impressed with my results. I saw TJ and asked for balayage. Every time I’ve asked for this in the past 4 years at other salons, I was left with orangey/brassy hair. TJ used 2 different volumes of bleach to achieve a uniform look because some areas of my hair needed a higher volume to lift and others required less. Not only was the blonde a uniform shade but it was brighter and lighter than what others have been able to achieve. Last but not least, the cut was perfect! I love the way he layered my hair and cut my bangs!!!“

Anna gave me the best hair cut I've ever had. I'm pretty picky when it comes to my hair and she NAILED it. Being new to Edmonton, I was hestitant to book with a new salon. No regrets what so ever. Anna helped me figure out my hair problems, and come up with a plan for colour. I am so excited to go back in a few weeks for a full colour correction. Anna, you're an amazing stylist with so many good vibes!!

UPDATE: We did a full colour correction on my hair. I have had pretty much every hair colour, and she got me to the EXACT blonde I wanted. I am so impressed with Anna, and this salon. Clean, proper safety standards, professional. I’m very curious about my hair, and Anna walked me through everything. I was so nervous that my hair would do something weird due to how much colour I’ve had, and we safely got it blonde without breaking my hair. I would recommend this salon ten times over. Thank you so much again Anna!“
