There is now AMAZING choice in barbershops in Calgary, and it's hard to keep track of them all. This unassuming storefront in Bankview is one I've walked by countless times, and not having been thrilled with my cut the month prior, I decided to throw caution to the wind and step inside. My barber was Idris, from Syria (yes I am a chatty customer) and I've had only good luck with Syrian barbers and this time was no exception. He cut my hair EXACTLY how I like it, hot shave on my neck, all in the space of about 20 minutes, if that. No idiotic loud music playing, no free drinks, fantastic basic barber that understands that some of us just want a good haircut at a very fair ($22, which for Calgary is more than reasonable) price.
