With men’s cuts and barbers, it’s the details that separate a great cut from an ok cut and this barbershop knows that. Their whole philosophy is quality, and the foundation of their business model is giving great cuts. That is represented in everything – the careful selection of the barbers who work there, the atmosphere/vibe to the place, the equipment and products they use, to the décor.One of the owners (Abe) cut my hair for years and they’ve been the best cuts I’ve ever had in my life without exception. Wiseman Barbers is the only place I will go for a cut. Even if I moved to the NW of the city it would be worth the trip for me. My hair always looks great and makes me feel good when I walk out of the shop. Beyond that, the staff are all very skilled and friendly.Shoutout to my man Sonny who beyond his skills as a barber and friendly banter is also a kind and generous human being.

Just moved to YYC last year and hadn't gotten a haircut yet. Found Wisemen on Google Maps, and saw all the amazing reviews. This place did not disappoint! My man Abe C hooked it up with an amazing cut (mullet, done to perfection). What an art to blend short and long hair so seamlessly and expertly--this dude is a master of his craft! The ambiance is awesome as well, with a cool vibe and great music playing. Definitely highly recommend this place and will be back for the next one!
