We had skunks under the deck. James was able to come the next day and recommended we do exclusion, which it is in fact installing a one way door in a couple of places. That let’s the skunks out unharmed, but they cannot get back into the den. Then he sealed if the areas of concern with a solid metal sort of mesh/ fence, called dig defense. I talked to James last week and he was able to come to my home that day. What I had thought were little caterpillars, were in fact the larvae of a certain beetle. James suggested doing a very thorough vacuuming of the area, including the furniture. If this did not work he had a powder he could use. Vacuuming did the trick. No more little critters.
