“My family and I are overwhelmingly grateful for the staff at Pierson’s Funeral Services. Their kindness, compassion, and genuine helpfulness went above and beyond what we had expected, especially since we had opted for a basic cremation package.

Although we took care of the memorial service ourselves, they made suggestions and provided advice on what would be needed, contacted the church for us, and even contacted the funeral home in PEI, where we would be taking our mother’s ashes to be laid to rest. I often called or dropped in to ask questions, get advice, or make changes to the original plan, and never felt like I was being a nuisance. I felt completely supported by everyone I had contact with. They even loaned me easels to use at the church.

The week following the service, one of the staff, Hazel, met with me to see if I needed any additional support, and to provide me with a list of things that need to be addressed after someone passes away. They made that easy by notifying all government agencies for us, leaving us to simply complete the personal items on the check list that they weren’t legally allowed to tend to.
