“I was having an AWFUL day after putting on my winter tires and discovering that there was about $1,100 worth of work that needed to be done. I was also told that my battery was having issues would likely need to be replaced ~$200.

Frustrated, I took my dogs on a walk and gave A&M Mobile Mechanic a call. The reception clerk answered and mentioned that I could swing by the shop and (likely) wait as the shop is slammed. Even more frustrated now, I hung up, brought the dogs home and headed to the shop (this took 15 minutes).

When I got to the shop Mahmoud was in the office and told me that he already had the new battery ordered, it would arrive in a couple of hours, and that he would install it same day.

He mentioned that while the warranty was still active on my "leaky battery", he would need to send out the battery so he would need to charge me for the battery and labour but then reimburse me if the test came back positive for a defect.

While I was frustrated by another bill...

Mahmoud literally dropped what he was doing (remember, the shop was REALLY BUSY) and came out front to check out my battery. He even offered me a lift home!

A few hours later I realize that it was past closing time for the shop and hadn't got a phone notification (my mistake). So I called the shop and they told me that I could still come by to pay for the invoice and pick up my car despite it being after hours!

As I reluctantly took out my debit card Mahmoud said, honestly I can see that there is something weird happening with the battery but it would still likely fail a defect test. He then said, how's about I just charge you for the labour, 1/5 of the cost of the battery ❤️.

What was easily the worst day of the week (maybe month) got turned around by the EXCELLENT customer service and generosity of Mahmoud and A&M. ??

I will be going to A&M Mobile Mechanic for ALL of my car issues in the future.“
