I reached out to Second Generation Exteriors to have a good look for any hail damage to my home in the NW of Calgary. Brad inspected my roof as well as the siding.
No repairs required at this time. Brad was honest and knowledgeable.
Unfortunately they were too busy to be able to do my repair, but they took the time to let me know what I needed so I could do it myself. They were quick to respond to my message and happy to help as best they could under the circumstances. Will definitely call when I have a job that I can’t tackle myself.
For everyone dealing with the results of the storm last night, I had to hop on here to give far too belated kudos to Brad and the Second Gen team for how they helped us with our hail storm claim a few years back. Our insurance company initially offered to patch the holes on our siding and offered a settlement of 4k. What our insurance company failed to mention (that Brad informed us of) is that patching the holes would void the warranty on the siding. We also didn't know that the insurance company's job is to pay to return your property to its pre-storm state.
