The crew leader was professional and kept us updated on the project's progress. Unfortunately, the attention to detail was lacking, resulting in a return trip to correct a railing that was not level, shoddy painting, and gaps in the balusters. We requested black hardware, but they returned with silver and informed us that we could 'spray paint it'. The railing itself is rough and not smooth. Additionally, the project's cost increased due to an unexpected add-on that was not included in the original quote. Finally, while the cleanup inside was great, the outside was left a mess.
Edit (11/10/25): After our review, Ana from JF Stairs reached out to discuss further (note that we had previously discussed this prior to the review being posted and had requested that they return to correct the railing and some of the painting). They did offer to come back and replace the hardware, and reimbursed us for the painting costs, which we appreciated. While the hassle of three visits was frustrating, they made every effort to correct what they could and ensure we were satisfied with the final product. The owner came out personally on the final trip to ensure we were happy and emphasized that there is a 1 year warranty on the work.
Rejina is SO talented!! She takes the time to make sure your brows are perfect. And the head massage she gives you after shaping your brows is beyond lovely! The salon is super clean and calming and she is always on time. 10/10 experience

I don’t usually leave reviews and I’m not being paid to say this, I’m just so thankful to have found a gem tucked away in New West. I’ve been sugaring (hair removal) consistently for about 8 years and I’ve been everywhere (all the hair removal places in Vancouver and beyond). I can confidently say Rachel is one of the best. She is extremely professional, thorough, and skilled. Her treatment room is spotlessly clean. Her technique makes for a more comfortable experience and you leave feeling smooth and hair free. Her rates are also totally reasonable. I go 5-weeks between appointments and haven’t picked up a razor in years. My skin is sensitive and I’ve been burned by waxing in the past. Or I would turn bright red. Sugaring is the answer and it’s worth going out of your way to book with Rachel.
My experience at Waxonomy was great. Laurie nailed the microblading and everyone there makes you feel welcomed.

I have been seeing Dr. Li Chen for acupuncture for shoulder pain and lingering coughing while recovering from pneumonia, and her treatments have been extremely effective. She is very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about her work. On top of that, she is funny, kind, and makes every visit comfortable.. I always leave feeling better and well cared for. @ale.Rosa.ink is an exceptional artist. My daughter designed my tattoo and Ale expressed and enhanced the botanical lotus beautifully. Her lines and colors expressed exactly what I wanted and the energy and intention behind the symbols. The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable. I highly recommended this studio.

Jason helped us from the design phase all the way thru our build and it turned out better than expected because of him and his teams. We recently finished a barn conversion into a 600 sq ft living quarters for my mom and she tells us daily how amazing it is. Jason helped slow the process down in the design phase to make sure it went smooth thru the construction. His attention to detail and communication were some of the best I’ve experienced.

Andrew Bell was great to work with. Very pleased with the fencing I had him replace. When he came back later to address some concerns, he answered all my questions to my satisfaction & even left me 5 pickets for any future changeouts I might want or need to replace. ANDREW GETS 5 STARS. His team lead Carlos only gets 3½ stars. He & his helper did a good job, were professional & cleaned up. However, he showed up at my house 4hrs early without notice or a request to change the agreed-upon time. I know, I know - earlier is better than later; it is - but I had already agreed to change the appointed day because Andrew had a cancellation. It totally scrambled my day. Then, Carlos didn't stand behind installing another metal post to address the gate sag issue that prompted the project. Andrew later deducted $50 from the total & said he trusted Carlos' judgment that it wasn't needed.

As a parent, I can honestly say Mathnasium has been a great experience for my son. He actually enjoys attending his online sessions, which says a lot. The instructors take their time and make sure he really understands the material instead of just pushing him through.
I also love that they send a report after every session so I know exactly how my child is doing and what he’s working on. It gives me peace of mind and helps me stay involved.
If you’re a parent looking for extra math support, I definitely recommend Mathnasium.
