“Michael at the front desk has been such a tool to helping me get to my goals in the gym. He is very easy and a dream to work with.“
“Fantastic studio and the classes with Jodi are my favorite! A great mix of challenging and approachable. My running-group friends and I have so much fun at these classes.“
“I really enjoyed this studio. My core usually never gets sore, but after trying their reformer class, I was definitely feeling it the next day or 2 after! I like the challenge of slowing down and feeling the mind muscle body connection. The trainers seem knowledgeable about how to process or modify movements if available. I also like that there’s yoga classes on the schedule and I look forward to trying those too. I’d suggest trying to book reformer classes because they can get popular and some people will eventually fall off the waitlist.“
“I love the instructors! They are welcoming, experienced and able to help folks adjust for different abilities. It feels like a welcoming community space. In particular, Tracy and MJ are two of my favorite instructors in the city. I always leave their classes feeling centered and fulfilled. Ive followed them from other sites of practice and would recommend their classes to anyone regardless of ability.“
“Nice place. Feels like it is more cardio oriented with focus on exercises with your own body mass. I’m training with Zeke, he is a great, knowledgeable personal trainer.“
“Club Pilates SLU is amazing! Everyone is so welcoming, the instructors are supportive and motivating, and I'm never not challenged. The stress-relief I get from my classes is super helpful and I swear I feel stronger after each class. I'm so glad I found this studio!“
“Amazing yoga studio! Loved the online workshop I attended. So much valuable information. Can’t wait for future workshops!“
“I was an early member of Tree House.. I got sidetracked with -life . But looking forward to rejoining. Best Yoga Studio Is ever attended.“
“Mid 40's and more fit than I've been in my life -- strength, body tone, and flexibility -- thanks to Knotty Yoga. I have great results attending only 2 or 3 hour-long classes each week, and have gained new physical skills that I never thought I could, e.g. rope climbing, acro, stretching, fabric, etc. Mason's a great instructor, thoroughly trained in fitness and massage, adapts classes and guidance to everyone's individual capabilities, and makes them fun and social. Classes are fast paced, varied, and strenuous, but not intensely tough or competitive. You'll get to know other regular attendees (aged 20s thru 50s), and have fun encouraging each other as you swiftly improve.“
“My 4 year old son did a dance camp this August and we are now in weekly classes because he loved it so much. He still does his routine that he learned from camp and his only complaint is classes are too short. He loves it and I love the flexibility for different styles, times, makeups, etc. Cheers!“
“I love this studio! I started here 15 years ago as a prenatal student and I've been here ever since. All the teachers are great and there are so many different options. And if you are looking for a teacher training program they have an amazing program too!“
“Phenomenal space, teachers, community, light, music and heat! This is a wonderful place to not only practice but to meet a lot of great people. I LOVE it here and feel lucky to have found it. It's a special studio with a unique vibe and energy. HIGHLY recommend!“
“The best private training on the Eastside! Not only are all the trainers friendly and energetic, but they also know their craft and how to motivate people to be their best.“
“I've been studying under Tara for roughly two years now, taking both weekly online classes and her monthly workshops. Even though I live far from the studio I find the drive out to see her worth it. She creates a nurturing environment in her classes, I never feel like she forced me or anyone else into an uncomfortable or dangerous position. She is very understanding of yoga anatomy and how everyone's bodies are different and have different strengths and limitations, and she is able to guide you to your edge while not pushing you past that where you might injure yourself. I always feel very safe and comfortable taking classes with her. She herself is also an active student, learning to deepen her knowledge of the asanas and other limbs of yoga. She will bring back fresh perspectives and teachings that she's gathered from her own journeys and incorporate them into our classes, so they never get stale. I love iyengar yoga because of it's emphasis on form and alignment, and use of props. I feel iyengar yoga is the best way to learn yoga without risking injuries, you will really learn the asanas here, especially under Tara's expert guidance.“
“I really liked yoga six, especially the sculpt and flow, but their class times are not spread out that well, sculpt and flow classes involve weight training along with yoga, there are no sculpt and flow classes after 6pm throughout the week, some of us need to finish work and get to the classes, 5:45pm classes are too early as we will have to leave work at 4:30 to attend them. It would be great if we had some of these classes at 7 pm as well. Otherwise they have really good staff, very lively training. It feels good to attend the classes“
“Aditi has the best prenatal yoga classes I’ve taken. They are consistent, well informed, gentle and safe. You can tell that the women who take them are healthy and happy in their pregnancy. I recently learned that you don’t get that at some other established prenatal classes in the area. I recommend this yoga studio to anyone and everyone.“
“Authentic, instructive, and informed yoga studio. I’m surprised there are not move raving reviews of this singularly serene space.“
“Hands down the best acupuncture experience I’ve ever had! I did 7 sessions focusing on releasing emotional blockages and felt significant shifts over the month!! I would even say life changing… Jenna is a great listener and knows exactly what to do (tapping, cupping, acupuncture, craniosacral) in the sessions based off the feelings or physical pain that surface & Kaia is also the best presence to have around ?“
“Beacon hill is so blessed! Amazing yoga right here in the neighborhood! Welcoming of beginners and newcomers, a very kind and professional staff.“
“All the classes offered are great. I recently attended the Yoga Nidra and it was money well spent! Invest in your wellbeing and take a class at Lake View Yoga!“
“This is a great space for practice in all senses, and Troy is an amazing teacher with deep knowledge and an admirable skill attending to each student and supporting where they are in their own practice.“
“Best school ever! Great Sifu who cares about her students and building community. Queer and BIPOC friendly.“
“At 5mo pregnant, I was involved in a minor accident that left me with some neck pain. During that time, I was also dealing with SI joint pain due to the pregnancy. Because of the accident, I was encouraged to seek chiropractic help by a friend who is a client of Dr. Catherine Englehart. In the past, I have dreaded both the amount of time it took for regular chiropractic treatments AND the treatment itself. With Dr. Catherine Englehart and Roosevelt Chiropractic, that wasn't the case. There is always plenty of parking, the front desk staff is always smiling, and Dr. Cathy is an absolute pleasure to be around. In addition to excellent (gentle) treatment for my neck and SI joint, being treated by Dr. Englehart was one of the most nurturing experiences I have had. Not what I expected from a chiropractor. Dr. Englehart gave me tips on how to alleviate and "reset" my SI joint in between appointments that worked like magic. With a 2 year old at home, an extremely demanding job AND pregnancy, I feel so lucky to have received care from Dr. Englehart. In fact, wish I had met Dr. Englehart during my first pregnancy. She would have been able to alleviate the majority of my pain.Whether experiencing pain with pregnancy, recovering from an injury, or just feeling "off", I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Catherine Englehart.“
“Absolutely recommend Union Pilates! Easy parking, always clean, bright, energetic. I have taken classes from both Elise and Ashley, who owns the studio. Love the private sessions to focus more leveling up my practice, and the group classes for regular maintenance. Love that the classes are typically pretty challenging and also rejuvenating if I hit them during my lunch break, mornings or mid-day. Couldn't recommend this studio more.“
“I’ve been going to this hot yoga studio for a few months now and have really loved it! At the end of each class, I always feel refreshed and the yoga flow always helps get the aches out of my joints. I do a lot of sports - running, climbing, hiking, and swimming. At the end of each week, hot yoga helps me recover and prevent injuries.Steve is my favorite instructor I’ve had for any hot yoga class. He has amazing energy, is always kind and supportive, and leads classes that leave me feeling refreshed and inspired. I also feel that Amy is wonderful and so kind - I’ve really enjoyed her hatha classes.I’m leaving 4 stars instead of 5 because I’ve taken a handful of classes with Joyce, and I don’t feel that she is very friendly. There have been multiple times that she’s called me out or snapped at me in class for doing a variation of a pose instead of what she precisely instructed. It makes the class feel rigid and stressful. She hasn’t cared to learn my name or to give me any positive encouragement. I decided I won’t take her classes anymore cause I always feel stressed out at the end of them. The instructors sort of make or break your experience, and most of my experiences at this studio have been positive, and I do plan on continuing to come back.“
