I went down not knowing what to expect and came out feeling fantastic! Destini is friendly and very knowledgeable in her work. I can’t recommend her enough!
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS!! I WAS NOT ALLOWED TO SELECT "DO NOT RECOMMEND". IM LEAVING A REVIEW ANYWAY! Do not get waxing done at XOXO Beauty Bar and Bronzing located in Inwood WV. I was VERY dissatisfied with the full leg and bikini wax I received! For starters, I had to wait an hour and a half for the appointment to even begin. Then during the appointment, Jodie (the owner) didn’t wear gloves, she double dipped, she applied the wax way too hot and it gave me first degree burns that took weeks to heal, and she waxed over the same areas multiple times which left painful bruises! She even left the room for 10 mins and I had to go out into the salon and find her. She told me repeatedly that I wouldn’t find a single hair left but when I got home I found at least half the hair was left! She also left wax all over my legs! All in all, I was at the salon for a total of 5 and a half hours which is an absurd amount of time for a wax! I tried emailing Jodie (the owner) about how unhappy I was with the service and she never responded. Then I called and left voicemails and I never got a call back. I finally was able to text her but she kept giving me the run around - saying she would call me and then she wouldn’t. Finally she texted me a long reply blaming me, saying that I had “difficult skin” and that was what made it take so long and that my skin type can’t be waxed. This is ridiculous because I have received waxes from other establishments previously with no problem. She refused to give me a refund. Horrible wax and horrible costumer service.
