I joined Brickhouse in April of 2017. I went to 1 class per week for a couple months before declaring membership in August of that same year! Now, I attend 3 times per week AND go for a 3-mile run 1 time each week: that's a total of 4 workouts per week as opposed to the 1 that I was doing when I first began, and the "none" that I was doing before that. Brickhouse kicks my butt, but it's whipped me into shape! It brings me so much joy to make this a priority in my life! Group fitness motivates me to be a better "me" every time I show up for class. Really love this place. It has the perfect spot. They offer lots of popular classes like ( pound, body pump, strong by Zumba etc). And the schedule works for everyone. They have classes in the (morning, and evening) during the week , and morning classes on weekends. The place is full of positive energy! The instructors are wonderfu. And I really love that they are like a big family. I feel so motivated and inspired by everyone of them. I always recommend this gym to anyone I know looking for a really good fitness place with a great environment. I'm a fan of every class they offer!
I am 65 years old and my husband died a month ago - I joined because I needed something to bolster my emotional health, as I had been caregiving for him for 2 years with not much chance of exercising. I wondered if an old lady could do the routines, but I am able to do modified versions of everything and get a good workout. Best antidepressant around, and I can gain some strength as a side benefit, and maybe, eventually, even find my waist again!
