Jo Shoesmith has been taking care of our parrots, which are family to us, for a few years. She has been terrific with their care, and she must be an animal whisperer. She is totally trustworthy, and has an outstanding demeanor for caring for animals that don't always behave themselves. She treats each animal with a high level of respect and high regard. She's prompt, returns texts quickly, and will go out of her way to accommodate unusual requests. She's insured and bonded, which is a comfort to us. We are so happy that she came into our life, and we give our highest recommendation to Purrfect Paws and Jo Shoesmith.

We used Purrfect Paws when we lived in WV, and Jo was a fantastic pet sitter for us. She is clearly devoted to taking the best care of the pets in her care and made sure to do everything we asked of her and then some. She paid special attention to our oldest cat, who is very friendly and craves affection, and the house was as clean as we had left it when we returned home. We moved to NC and unfortunately have not yet found a pet sitter even remotely as good as Jo. I would recommend her without hesitation!

Highly recommend Purrfect Paws. Jo is absolutely wonderful with animals - very kind & patient, especially with my geriatric great danes. Even my finicky cat likes her :) She spends quality time with my pets & sends texts w/great photos of my fur babies while we're away. She is licensed & bonded, and very trustworthy. We can breathe easier on our trips knowing that our animals are in such good hands. Highest recommendation!
