I have a now 16 year old cat that was acting normal outside of pooping outside of his litter box. It eventually escalated to a point where I knew I needed a vet. I took him to a local vet because they had good reviews and the vet was a cat specialist. I won’t name them, and they even noted his degenerative muscle and arthritis, but they ran every test they could and nothing stood out out of the ordinary for a cat his age and said the issue was his GI tract and put him on very expensive prescription Science Diet. Kind and compassionate folks working here. Every person that I have interacted with at this vet has been great and treated me well. I am especially thankful of the hospitality that was given when I had to put my cat down. On one of the worse days you can have as a pet parent, these people made the transition as smooth as possible. They even sent me a hand written note a few weeks after. It made me tear up a bit but shows how much they care. When I decide to get another another pet this is the only place I will come. Thank you so much EverVet team.
