I just wanted to share with you the most excellent experience I had with A-1 Heating and cooling. My mother-in-law's oil furnace went out. She's in her 80's and was panicked when it went out. I called several places early this morning, of which most either didn't answer or didn't work on oil furnaces. I called A-1 since they're close to home (10th and Milwaukee). When I called they said they'd be there around 11-3pm (towards the end of the day and by the airport). Mike showed up, diagnosed the problem right away and got her up and running. ? Absolute Best!! I love their service..friendly and very easy to work with. They installed my furnace and maintenance my boiler! Very professional, clean, fast and great customer service!!! Hands down one of the best I’ve work with in a longtime! Amazing Work!!!

My furnace wasn't working properly. The thermostat would be set, but there were periods when the house temperature was 2-3 degrees lower than the set temperature and it would remain that way a good while before the furnace would come back on. So I had to set the thermostat temperature higher to compensate for the degree variance. Also at times it would blow out cool air. Mike came out..told me because I was running high heat, it was blowing the cool air due to a safety feature to keep the unit from overheating.
