After Doctor Christensen retired and sold the practice, this place has gone completely downhill. They used to allow financing of expensive treatments for people on limited incomes - no more of that! Their range of services has also been cut short. I was a loyal customer of The Cat Doctor for almost twenty years, but no more. I wouldn't trust them now to treat a rat. They refused to treat my cat who had been their patient since 2012. I can no longer patronize The Cat Doctor nor can I recommend this practice. They have gone from serving their clientele to making a profit.

I have a new 1-year old kitty that I wanted to bring in for a checkup. Also she's got the sniffles and she's been sneezing, so I was concerned and wanted to bring her in right away. The woman who answered the phone gave a sigh that I'm all too familiar with-when I get a call that I don't want to answer. She exhaled as she answered the phone with her scripted greeting. It was the sound of someone who hates answering phones. I knew immediately that I might not have a good experience. And I could hear in her voice that she did not want to be bothered. I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance for my cat who has a respiratory infection, paid their $82 deposit. Had a missed call the day before my appt. I'm a nurse in an ICU and could not answer my phone- then received a text message same day before to confirm my appt. and I reply "Y" and the response is "Thank you for confirming. We look forward to seeing you soon." Show up the next morning and nobody is there. Paid for parking. Office is closed. No note on the door. Called multiple times and left messages- nothing on their phone answering service says anything suggesting they would be closed so then I go to their website to see if I can find an email to email someone...read full review
