Laura is an excellent dog and human trainer. She's kind, caring and compassionate, but also really knows her craft and how to teach you to teach your dog. Further, she uses no aversive training whatsoever. I've taken three course with Laura and will surely go back for more. She's great; you'll love her class!

We had a great experience with the individual dog class with Laura. She was very realistic with management and training strategies to try with our ‘middle aged’ dog. We have already applied some of her tips and had some success! Also, she was very professional, on time, and patient with us.

Laura Strimpel of Taproot Dog Training is an excellent trainer of both people and their pets. She’s very friendly, accessible and generous with her time and best of all her training works. We couldn’t be happier after attending City Dog 1 course. We’ve already signed up for City Dog 2!
