August of 2022 we had hired a carpenter (Shane from ST Custom Craftsman) to wrap a post in wood and replace 6 hollow core doors with wood doors (2 of them were pocket doors). The work was very bad and dragged out over 4+ months. Shane ended up walking off the job leaving everything poorly and partially done. We hired Doug to redo all the work. Doug arrived promptly ad when he said he would. Stuck to his estimate and had very good attention to detail. After he finished fixing all the work (in under a week!!!) we asked him to give us a quote to build and install baseboard heat covers to replace our nasty metal covers. This is my first time leaving a review but needed to call out what a great experience it was working with Doug as he rebuilt my two-tiered deck. He had done a small job for me two years prior and I still had his business card – so when my deck needed to be rebuilt there was no hesitation on who to reach out to for the job. Not only is Doug true to his word, his communication regarding the job details was excellent. Most importantly, Doug identified a problem with the original construction of the deck that was causing water to seep to my patio doors. My wife & I hired Doug to install soffit on our house & garage. Doug was so professional with his business approach and recommendations. His skills are top notch and prices fair. He finished our soffit in a reasonable( 2 days) time. We are extremely happy with the end result. We would recommend Doug for any project without hesitation.
