Our experience with Shaw and Sons was amazing at a very hard time when my mother passed. My family would highly recommend Rhea to guide you through all the arrangements. Rhea is very kind and caring and knowledgeable about all the details. We all felt we were in the best of hands and cannot thank Rhea and all the staff for their compassion and kindness and professionalism.

Would most definitely give them more starts if I could. The staff was beyond helpful in making my mama’s arrangements. Donna is the absolute best, she was very kind, patient, and got everything on point. The experience was amazing at such a painful time.

A very spacious funeral home with lots of room for a large crowd. The staff is very kind, and helpful. The parking lot seems a little small, but then again I'm not a funeral home guru (nor do I plan to be).

When Shaw's was purchased back in to local ownership in 2019, the Mohler family has built on and expanded the storied heritage of years ago. Providing both cremation and burial options, we are honored to care for our local community, without the corporate oversight and remote, Wall Street backed management, experienced by other funeral homes in Yakima. Our dedicated staff and local family owned approach has proven to serve the families of Yakima well. With a large and beautiful chapel, as well as private smaller gathering areas, our facility is both accommodating and flexible, including an indoor reception space.
