Waited an hour and forty minutes to see Dr. Ranola and the first thing she said was “sorry for the wait I don’t like doing cases like this anymore”. The case being a routine dental exam. She then went on a rant about how routine exams are not challenging enough for her. After that pleasant conversation I asked about getting a night guard for teeth grinding while asleep and her suggestion was meditation. While that’s not a terrible idea it doesn’t prevent me from cracking a tooth presently. I then had to ask her to do the exam to which she looked in my mouth for maybe 10 seconds and said no cavities. Very insightful. You’re better off to spend your 2 hours elsewhere with a dentist that might actually help you.
** this is not reflective of the staff as they are always incredibly nice and helpful. This review is purely of Dr. Ranola.

UPDATE: The dentist is trying to say below that they don’t have a record of me visiting. Please avoid this place. They are not honest and the dentist is attempting to make more money by telling people they have dental issues when they don’t.I had the misfortune of visiting this place recently. I believe they take advantage of low Income folks and their children. Please, don’t take your kids here. Don’t take yourself here. It’s really bad. The dental assistance don’t know what they’re doing, and they will bruise up your mouth. The dentist lied to me about multiple cavities. I I knew she was lying, because I just moved out here and had had an exam from my prior dentist six months ago and it was great. I walked out of the office before they did the cleaning. No one from the office ever called to check on me. They then tried to bill my insurance and there’s an ongoing dispute. They are also being reported to the Washington dental board, their personal Malpractice insurance, and the Better Business Bureau. My mission is to let the local area know that this business should be shut down.

UPDATE: this office continues to be horrible. I’m pretty sure they are paying for reviews, please avoid them. They have now tried to bill my insurance, and my insurance is reporting their claim as fraud. I also went back to my prior dentist, who confirmed that I had no cavities. The dental assistant seemed like she had never taken x-rays before, I have bruising in my mouth because she was so rough with me. They were playing loud rap music the entire time. The dentist (Dr. Ranieu) then proceeded to tell me that I had four cavities, even though she couldn’t point them out on the x-ray. I was so uncomfortable and put off that I ended up walking out without even getting a cleaning. I’ve been going to dentists faithfully Every six months for 20 years (my whole adult life) - and this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.

This is a great dentist and the service itself has been stellar. The dental assistants remember your name on repeat visits and everyone is very professional. However, I recently tried to call and contact a receptionist to ask a simple question about pricing. I was immediately booted over to an AI answering machine that kept repeating questions. It was infuriating after having been able to connect with a real person in the past and get answers quickly and without hassle. Rather than having an option to be on hold and wait a bit for a person, it forces you to leave a message, and then hangs up.
