They’ve taken care of my dogs for 10 years. Incredibly compassionate when I had to put down my first dog. Very transparent in costs. They also have been able to squeeze in an urgent visit that saved me from having to take my pet to the ER. I’ve seen probably all the vets that work there and they’ve changed over the years, but we’ve consistently received quality care

Neighborhood Pet Clinic is amazing! They take such great care of my large, extra-energetic dog with patience and kindness. The vets are thorough, the staff is welcoming, and you can tell they truly love animals. I always leave feeling confident my pup is in the best hands. Highly recommend!

I switched here from Southgate Animal Clinic in Milwaukie when I moved back to Washington after the pandemic. The difference has been like night and day. The staff are all very personable, down to earth, and actually remember me and my little lady Chibi whenever we come in. They’re always kind over the phone too. What’s most important to me is that they never call us to a room any later than 5 to 7 minutes after our scheduled appointment time. Southgate regularly kept us waiting over an hour without acknowledgment. It was well worth being on the waitlist for several months to get to come here regularly.

My cat and I had a great experience with Neighborhood Pet Clinic and Dr. Hicks. They are very experienced and sweet, seemingly helped my senior girl feel comfortable during her vaccinations and check up exam.

I had been feeling very good about my pups new veterinarian until today. One of my pups got the 2nd part of a two-part vaccine. The 1st part was 3 weeks ago along with the wellness exam. I think $48.60 for the 2nd part of the vaccine was excessive, especially since the 1st part was only $30.60. I called and was informed that an assistant exam ($18) was tacked on to the cost of the vaccine??? An assistant exam? The assistant walked my pup to the back where they administer the vaccine and then walked my pup back up to the front. That sounds to me like part of an assistant's job, especially since the vet exam was only 3 weeks ago.

The Neighborhood Pet Clinic is an excellent veterinarian practice. I was impressed with all the staff members who are caring, patient & engaging with all the animals. Everyone is well trained and listens to your concerns. Everything is clean & organized. Dr. Hicks DVM, who is gentle & calming during her exams & evaluations. She informs you of her findings & offers any appropriate interventions, tests &/or medications that might be helpful. She cared for my 2 dogs that I dearly loved. She is a very compassionate & supportive person, especially in times of sadness & difficult decisions. I highly recommend their services.
