I booked a 2 hour in-home class with Joe as a Christmas gift for my wife. Over the course of the two hours demonstrating and explaining massage therapy techniques, Joe generously shared with us his art and his craft. He would then have us repeat those techniques on one another with utmost care and guidance (the first hour with my wife as Joe's student practicing on me and the second hour with roles reversed). He made sure that we were both super comfortable with the techniques, pressure and modesty as he demonstrated. The man is a consummate professional, scholar and a gentleman. We’ve taken two of Joes massage workshops now and both have been amazing. Joe creates a welcoming environment that’s easy to relax in, and shares lots of great ideas on how to give your partner a great massage without straining or hurting yourself. The workshop had a light structure, so you got to all the parts of the body, but you had a lot of opportunity to experiment and see which of the techniques worked best your partner. Joe and his wife (a physical therapist) were rotating around often offering tips, and providing specific ideas based on what either of us needed. The personalized attention was super impressive. You can tell they both truly love what they do!

My husband and I were truly impressed with our experience with the couples massage workshop. We came in expecting a basic rub down. The instructors taught us ways to be intimate with our touches, ways to work into the pressure, some light hearted jokes. I got a wonderful massage, and felt closer to my partner afterward. Best date day ever!
