Infrared heat is where it’s at!! The mental stamina that I have learned is a completely unexpected benefit of the heat here. Because of Hot Yoga Inc, I am a much better surfer, spearfisher and free diver. The breathwork in the hot room cured my asthma altogether after 6 months of 2-3 days per week of practice, an affect that continued even during a 5 year stint when I wasn’t practicing regularly. The physical practice has strengthened and lengthened my muscles and is a terrific accompaniment to active sports and weight training. This studio changed my life physically, mentally, and spiritually 13 years ago. I've been to quite a few other studios and nothing compares to HYI. All the teachers are excellent and welcoming.
