I have been taking my dogs to The Pet Doctor for over 15 years. Every veterinary doctor who has seen to them has been outstanding. They really listen, are so kind and compassionate, and the veterinary care is top notch. Many times I have received a call back from one of the vets personally to let me know the results of a procedure or test. I highly recommend The Pet Doctor if you live in the Lakewood/Tacoma area.

I had a really horrible experience with a previous vet and got recommended by a breeder to Dr.Cindy the reproductive doctor at The Pet Doctor. Dr. Cindy Saved my puppies. this vet clinic is amazing. Couldn’t recommend this place more. I feel like everyone is very knowledgeable and when it comes to my pet, I definitely want the best and I can confidently say you will find that here.

I switched to The Pet Doctor when my usual vet on Union Ave got new owners/veterinarians and WOW! What a GREAT decision! They are progressive, think rationally about procedures and don't force labs or treatments that aren't necessary. They explain why they are doing what they are doing, ask if it's within your budget and give less expensive but still solid treatment options. They are thorough, listen to reason and actually work together with clients. They don't just assume they know better than clients do. I just love that about them. The staff is great! I have had 3 visits with 3 different pets.
