I have been seeing Teri Tamas, L.M.P., for over a year and have gained exceptional results. I presented with a complicated history and had tried numerous other therapists for treatment of a difficult shoulder problem. Teri listened to what I had to say, assessed my situation, and applied the appropriate method and techniques to bring me significant relief. I had dramatic results after our first session.
Teri is experienced in neuromuscular massage and Myofascial release, and a specific combination of the two has eliminated severe nerve pain (neck and upper shoulder) and significantly reduced pain, stiffness, and swelling in my upper arm and lower shoulder. Teri herself has stated that if one is looking for a relaxing, spa-type of massage that she’s probably not the clinician to seek. If, however, one requires a professional that is skilled in advanced pain relief with a “medical massage” focus, then Teri is the person to see.
I have visited L.M.P.’s that have spent part of my sessions telling me how experienced they are, whereas Teri has demonstrated that she is the actual realization of that experience. I commend her services to you.

This review is long overdue - I've been seeing Teri for some time now and she is AMAZING. I've gotten many massages in the past but visiting Teri for the first time was a game changer. Her incredible ability to understand your body is apparent and very unique. I have ongoing shoulder tightness from work and stress and her full body massages completely keep the pain at bay. This isn't just a light brushing massage, she'll actually work on untangling those knots to bring immediate relief. Her attention to detail and ability to follow the pain in my neck and back to work it out is incredible. I am not a frequent yelp reviewer, but felt compelled to let everyone know about this opportunity. I 100% recommend Teri.

Teri Tamas is by far the best massage therapist out of the many my wife and I have encountered. She was able to pinpoint issues in the first session which other practitioners and doctors weren't able to identify even after a dozen sessions, helping greatly with long-standing issues and discomfort for myself and my wife, with ride range of issues from muscle spasms to TMJ. She was even able to provide exercises and stretched to help at home in between sessions. She is flexible with scheduling, including late after work and as needed on weekends and is always generous with time, often going beyond an hour of actual massage time (as opposed to 50 minutes or less with most other places). She is preferred with many health insurances plans and accepts credit cards, and it comes out to much less than a Massage Envy membership, even before had met Insurance deductible. She has been so helpful that I even ended up recommending her to my doctor.
