Jerry at Uptown Barber is incredible. He is highly skilled, pays great attention to detail, and always takes his time. The shop has a great atmosphere and Jerry always delivers exactly what I ask for. I have been able to explore different hairstyles thanks to him. Highly recommend to stop by and visit!

I’ve been going to Uptown for almost a decade! Sheena has Been my barber for a good portion of that, and I’ve always had a great experience! I love the old school feel, and the fact that you can drink a beer while you’re getting a haircut makes for all around great experience! I highly recommend every chance I can get for someone looking for a classic barber haircut! I won’t go to anybody else! Also, she loves to have chicken treats on hand for when my Pup comes with me! Uptown is the only barbershop for me!

Overall very solid experience. I've been cutting my own hair at home for many years but finally needed to do something different. The shop can get very toasty inside, but otherwise solid atmosphere. This was my very first time going to a barber shop, and as a queer transmasc I felt very comfortable. The guy who did my hair did a lot to reassure and make me feel much more comfortable about the thinning & receding hairline I've developed in my 30s, and he worked with me to figure out the best option for my hair with a couple photo references, and took a little more off along the sides where requested to minimize the way my hair tries to stick out in one spot.... read full review
