Dr. Thornton is absolutely amazing. My daughter recently had two teeth pulled and Dr. Thorton's bubbly personality and positive energy made the experience so pleasant and calmed my daughter's nerves. She was so cute with my daughter. We are so happy and have found her. Everyone at this practice is always so friendly.

Called to make an appointment for my children, told them my insurance, they said they took it so I made the appointment. Get there 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork, as I’m doing the paperwork we get called up to the front desk and get attitude and passive aggressive comments. She said we’re not in network, so I pull up the portal to my insurance and show them that they’re listed. Someone else takes my phone back to billing and the front desk is complaining that we need to hurry up with the paperwork and that it’s technically 15 minutes past the appointment/grace period and we should’ve gotten here earlier so that this wouldn’t happen. This was so unprofessional, every other office for any type of medical care always takes patients even when paperwork isn’t finished yet, and lets them to continue to work on it. Turned out to be a blessing in disguise because the other person came back with my phone saying while the provider is listed as in network, it was a mistake and they shouldn’t have been. So we cancel the appointment, we understand that stuff happens not a big deal. BUT then we continue to get lectured with more passive aggressive comments from the front desk about how if we had given them our insurance when we made the appointment, or got here 15 minutes early, or hurried up with the paperwork then we wouldn’t even be in this situation. Which I did in fact do. She was acting like I was just sitting there doing nothing, but there was a lot of information they wanted on the forms and I had to fill them out for two kids. Then had the audacity to encourage us to call our insurance and reschedule an appointment in a couple weeks. Beware of the unprofessionalism and being blamed for things not in your control.

I rarely write reviews, but as a parent, I feel compelled to share this deeply disappointing experience. I scheduled an important appointment for my twin children to have caps placed—something no parent looks forward to, but a necessary part of their care. We coordinated the appointment the same day with the front desk and found a date in July that worked. I even cleared my entire schedule so I could be there to support my children through something that, understandably, had me feeling nervous all week.
This morning, the day before the appointment, we called just to confirm everything and make sure we were prepped. That’s when the nightmare began. The woman on the phone tells my husband we don’t have an appointment.
Not only is this incorrect—we have paperwork clearly showing the appointment date, time, and even the payment details—but the response we received was shockingly dismissive. Instead of taking responsibility or trying to fix the situation, they asked if we had an appointment card—as if the paperwork and time we set aside meant nothing—and then hung up on my husband. When he tried calling back, they didn’t answer.
There was no concern for the fact that they dropped the ball. No apology. No effort to make it right. Just silence.
This isn’t just about a missed appointment. This is about two children who needed care, two parents who prepared emotionally and logistically, and a front desk that acted like none of it mattered. I’m deeply disappointed and honestly heartbroken by how this was handled. We expected compassion and professionalism. We got neither.

RPDO is the best, and we recommend them to anyone looking for pediatric dentistry or orthodontics. We love Dr. Chris and Dr. Ray, and all of the hygienists are wonderful too. We just recently started seeing Dr. Bibona for orthodontics, and we love him too!
