Lumix superpulsed lasers were introduced to the United States in 2001 for research under FDA-approved IRB guidelines. In 2004, Lumix was cleared by the FDA as the first superpulsed laser in the US. In 2016, Lumix continued its laser technology leadership role with FDA clearance as the first therapeutic laser combining synchronized superpulsed and continuous wave emissions. Lumix “stepped out front” again in 2019 with higher pulse powers, producing superior tissue penetration and saturation that offers deeper, profound healing options.
