I was amazed how well my chairs look, they are over 30 years old, and they honestly look brand new. The Elephant Trunk/Monroe and Co. Upholstery is a charming place with beautiful items that you can purchase as well. The owner Nina, who did the work herself was just as lovely and accommodating to my need. I had searched other places for material and could not find what I wanted until I came to The Elephant Trunk. Nina matched me up with the perfect pattern for my room. Nina was amazing! Although we picked out one fabric she was able to get us an even better fabric for our chairs! She picked them up and delivered them within the next day because it was an emergency. She is extremely talented and sweet and went way above and beyond what we expected. I highly recommend her services.

In 1976, my husband and I bought a Naugahyde wing chair. It has a tufted back and seat and brass nailheads.It was purchased for the first home we owned.It ended up being one of my favorite furniture pieces.This past winter, we decided to replace all of our upholstered chairs.The wing chair had several damages in the naugahyde.Growing puppies, also, left their mark on legs.As I was hunting for new furniture, I kept looking at this chair.It is a good chair.
