Island Glow has it all! From wellness / skincare options to tanning! I absolutely love the medical grade Red Light, and the hydration therapy in the Cocoon Aqua Pod. UV tanning combined with red light therapy and one of the best spray tan I’ve ever had!!! Top-of-the-line equipment!

Island Glow is amazing! I have the wellness package and have seen so many positive changes from Red Light Therapy , Aqua Pod and the Infared Sauna! The staff is professional and helpful! I highly recommend Island Glow!

I hope I can at least save one bride from having another awful experience with Island Glow for their wedding day with this review. My experience was truly terrible with island glow, particularly with the owner Michelle. Their communication is horrendous and Michelle is a sorry excuse for a hair and makeup artist. I asked to schedule my hair and makeup trial about 4 months before my wedding. Island glow scheduled me for a date and time without my input. The only reason I knew I was scheduled was from a calendar email confirmation for a random date. It’s hard not to think this date was purposefully scheduled 28 days out from my wedding as the contract I signed months before states no changes or refunds can be made 30 days before the day of service. On top of that, they weren’t even going to tell me the day and time THEY scheduled me for wasn’t even available when I followed up about a month before. We eventually found a time to reschedule the trial. From the minute I walked in to the trial Michelle was cold, harsh, and unprofessional. She did not ask one thing about me or the wedding, only tried to sell me her other services. At best, the makeup looked like my 4 year old cousin did it. The hair looked nothing like the inspo pics I provided to her. It’s clear Michelle only knows how to do one updo and that is a birds nest on the side of your head. I’m so thankful I paid the ridiculous $350 fee for a trial, though. Michelle truly would have ruined my wedding day.
TLDR: Michelle is a sleazy business owner and an even worse hair and makeup artist.

This small town having only one UV tanning bed and having to make an appointment for a 2-4 minute session is absolutely absurd. Coming from sun tan city I completely understand and well knowledge on how tanning guidelines work. The packages are deceiving as to what you are actually getting. The bed is not up to par and having to only use their lotions is very displeasing. It was stated to me “we don’t want to ruin the bed.” That’s exactly why there is certain products you can use to clean them effectively. Uninformed staff makes it difficult to trust this business. I did have high hopes but after my visit there it will be no return. This was an early birthday present for me and it’s sad it wasn’t a pleasant experience as well as being a continued customer. It’s extremely disappointing to say the least.
