I've used Jim as a buyer on 5 properties now, and he is the most thorough and methodical person you can hire. I hope he doesn't retire cause I wouldn't want to use anyone else! When I went to sell my first home after putting tons of work into it, I found his report in a file and in hindsight he had pointed out virtually everything that needed addressing. Plan for a whole day though, he will take his time. I've had a horrible experience with another home inspector who only took about an hour and half and delivered a real fancy binder but missed a bunch of things. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This was the best money I have ever spent. I was apprehensive about scheduling a home inspection due to some previous stories from friends about the lack of value, but I was wrong. Jim was not only thorough and extremely detailed in his inspection, but also took the time to explain defects, safety hazards, and areas for future improvement. Jim is extremely knowledgeable and well qualified. Note, he only conducts one inspection a day to ensure the quality and integrity of the inspection and report.
