The staff and doctors show love and concern for their animal patients. The doctors take as much time as needed so you understand all your options for treating your pet. They do not push any treatment but make sure you understand the options available. I've been going to Great Falls now over 10 years now and they have helped me get through some very rough times with my pets. I travel from Falls Church to Great Falls because I trust them that much with the care of my pets.

Through care for our three dogs, loved across two families, we’ve had the fortune of getting to know Dr. Bishop and the GFAH team. Our time with GFAH has included the fun of a new puppy and the heartbreak of two passings. Always patient, thoughtful, and generous with her time (including weekend and evening emails or texts as we fretted over an aging pooch) Dr. B became an extension of our dogs’ lives, and the only person we would fully entrust with their care.
We can’t thank her and the team enough, nor recommend them with more gratitude.

We adopted a rescue sheltie mix in March 2020. Even though at the time of adoption we were told she was heart worm free, not long after adoption, our dog was diagnosed with heartworms. Our vet, Dr. Leanne Kalinsky, patiently and thoroughly explained the prolonged treatment process including the serious risks involved. In addition, she patiently answered our questions. made herself available to us and offered us support at every step. Every every member of the Great Falls Animal Staff was professional, caring and compassionate. We are very grateful to them and will obviously continue to stay with them for our dog's needs. We heartily recommend GFAH to anyone who is seeking an animal hospital.

A very friendly place. Everyone, from the staff out front to the vets, go out of their way to make you and your beloved pet feel special. Gretel, my favorite child, gets excited when I tell her she’s going to go on a trip to the vet, because she knows she’ll get special attention (and treats), and the shots don’t really hurt that much. The prices are competitive, and my baby deserves the best care she can get.

We brought in Eddie, our 10 year old kitty last Saturday. Dr. David Salmanzadeh was very thorough and treated Eddie with gentleness and care.
Following his advice and treatment plan, we saw Eddie back to his frisky self over the weekend. Even his pain from arthritis seemed to disappear!

We have been going to GFAH for years and we are so pleased with everything, from the front desk staff and all the doctors. We always get the best care for our dog and so many of the staff have been there for many years so it's always great to see the same friendly faces. Our latest appointment with Dr Bishop was great, she took time to hear about some concerns and did a very thorough annual check up.
