I have been coming to Dr. Steve Larkin for like 20+years and 💯 + completely satisfied; he’s the best!!! everyone is so friendly from billing through the whole process, never had any issues with billing etc …. 👍

My experience with VA Family was short and would NOT go back. Not only did they charge me for a service that my insurance 100% covered, they wanted to charge me out of pocket for another thing that was covered 80%. I called my insurance company with the dental code they gave me and confirmed it was covered. I called the office again and the girl who I spoke to was not only rude but condescending. When I told her my insurance covers the cost 80% her response was "well we have you pay out of pocket first just in case they decide to deny it", I said okay? But I just told you I spoke with them I need you to send over the treatment plan for pre-approval so that way I don't have to pay out of pocket. Then she said we will but it takes sometime and it might not be back in time. To me that's absolutely ridiculous and scamish. I immediately called another dentist to get a different opinion and decided to go to a SPECIALIST for a surgical extraction. I suggest staying FAR AWAY from these scam artists. UPDATE: Just received notice they tried submitting NEW claims to my insurance. For services not even done. I reported it to my insurance but this is absolutely unreal.

Its all wine and roses until they get their payment and then when you need follow up and are in pain, it's like they just can't seem to fit you in. I knew it was too good to be true....helpful staff, caring nurse, and dentist that talked to you like a human, the tip off should have been "we are here if you needs up or are in pain just call and we will take care of you".....ALL LIES.....in pain beyond belief and told on monday you have an appointment on wednesday....is that good enough, we could maybe see you tomorrow.....WTF...oh yeah you got your payment now you don't care about the patient.....words to live by if it seems to good to be true!! IT IS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE!!!!
