Not sure why it has taken me this long to write this review, since we luckily found Shady Grove Animal Clinic 12 years ago. Dr. Lucas is our main vet here, and he is very knowledgeable, patient and caring. Since we have 2 dogs with multiple medical issues, we have been cared for by every vet at the facility and they are all terrific. The entire staff is very friendly, professional and accommodating. But if you don’t believe me, ask our dog who never wants to leave this place and can’t wait to visit again!

Just moved to the state from Arizona, my poor dog came with bad allergies to begin with. Not even within the first 30 minutes we had his whole history and a treatment plan looked over and analyzed thoroughly! I feel comfortable with the team there and it shows they really do care for the well being of their patients. Unfortunately I had a horrible experience at a different vet and my dog suffered due to their inability to stock needed medications and topicals that my dog does need on a daily, I will leave the name out but they didn’t seem to want to help me treat my dog’s symptoms at all. Here at shady grove is a completely different story, not only did they help, they supplied the medication and topicals he needs as well as inform me of some other remedies and sources for his allergies. I don’t see a need to take my dog anywhere else, we are gonna be long time clients and happy for it! Thank you for taking such good care and taking the time to understand his lengthy history, I greatly appreciate you guys and I am so happy I found yall!

I’m not good about asking the cost of the treatments and medications that I’m buying so I always get surprised at the checkout. It would be nice if they would tell me up front what the service is going to cost me.

We had our first visit today. I absolutely loved the office! The ladies at the desk were so nice. The veterinarian assistant was very kind and the veterinarian was wonderful. She did a very thorough examination on my cat, Max and answered all of my questions. She took time with us and listened to my concerns! I am so happy that I picked the right doctor for my cat! I highly recommend this practice!!

This practice is GREAT. Small and personal. They took a lot of care with my older cat that had been very angry at her other vet's in the past. Really glad I gave them a try. Couldn't be happier.
