I'm retired military and kind of picky about the haircuts I receive (as a result of so many bad haircuts I received while on active duty!) so I've spent some time picking out just the place to get my hair cut. If you demand a quality haircut, and enjoy friendly, personal, professional customer service to boot, Yen's is the place to go in the Fredericksburg area. There are other good barbering services in and around Fredericksburg, but the best I've found, hands-down, is Yen's. She not only takes the time to ask you about the particulars of how you want your hair cut, she delivers exactly what you ask for, and then greets you with a smile, remembers who you are and how you wanted your hair cut the next time that you visit her shop. That's what I call personalized service!
My mom would take my brother and I here to this location in the 90's when it was Dave's Barbershop. When Dave's closed down and Yen's opened up I was old enough to pay for my own haircut and have been visiting Yen's Barbershop ever since. I've easily been a loyal patron for over a decade and I won't go anywhere else but Yen's when I'm home. She knows exactly what I want when I come in and always takes such good care of me. Yen has such great attention to detail and is very gentle cutting my hair. I will continue to see her as long as she's in town!
Theres another review here thats basically, "I'll never go anywhere else." +1 from me. Unless forced to go elsewhere due to circumstance, I'm convinced she's the best barber in the f'burg area. Yen's awesome. Great cut, reasonable price. She listened to what I wanted, repeated it back for clarity, then went to work.
