Falls Church Medical Center: Pickett Michael MD

I do not normally leave reviews but I have to warn people about this place. I've had multiple appointments with the mental health department and with OBG/YN, none of which were helpful. Firstly, to even get an appointment with mental health is a struggle. It took days of me calling and getting hung up on to speak to an actual person, for them to tell me that the soonest appointment was a month away. My psychiatrist, Dr. Veronica Slootsky, was one of the most unprofessional people I have ever met. Look, the doctors here are pretty good. But they are obviously horrible managers and there is a reason they are closing down. Their staff is utterly, ridiculously, and horribly incompetent and uncaring. They've lost my medical records, billed in error, charged me for stuff I didn't get, and more. I stayed a bit because of the doctor I had as he was actually pretty good. The staff just caused too much grief for me.

I see Dr. Vidwans as my Primary Care Physician at this practice. He is, by far, the best PCP I've ever had (and I'm 43 y.o.). He is knowledgeable, kind, courteous, NEVER rushes me, always answers all of my questions, does not alarm easily, etc. He really listens to me and takes my preferences into consideration when outlining treatment plans or giving referrals. I agree with some other reviewers that the front office staff can be less personable, but they've always gotten me what I needed.
