    If I could give this place negative 100 stars, I would. This office should be avoided at all costs.

    For months, I’ve been calling weekly trying to speak with a manager regarding two contact lens boxes I never received. Every single time, the front desk receptionist says the manager “isn’t in” and promises a callback the next day. It’s now been over 2.5 months with absolutely no follow-up. The management at this location clearly does not care about their customers.

    What’s worse is the dishonest upselling. I specifically requested Total Dailies, which I’ve always used without issue. Instead, they pushed Acuvue, claiming it was “better.” The doctor gave me Acuvue samples to test first before any order was supposed to be placed to ensure I actually liked them. After trying them for one day, they did not sit right on my eyes at all, so I asked them to order the Total Dailies I originally requested.

    That’s when the front desk receptionist told me they had already placed the order for the Acuvue and that I would need to return the package once received. I asked why they would place an order before I even confirmed I liked the samples the doctor gave me to try. The front desk girl could not give me an answer.

    I returned the unopened Acuvue package exactly as instructed. When I asked about the price difference, the manager told me it was only $4. I knew that couldn’t be right, so I asked her to look it up in front of me. The actual difference came out to $218. Once caught in either a lie or total incompetence, I asked if they could simply provide me with two additional boxes since each box costs around $100. At first, she said no and told me it was my problem and my cost to eat. After several minutes of back-and-forth in front of me at the store location, she finally checked with another employee and then agreed.

    Now here we are, nearly two months later: no follow-up, no contacts, no callback, nothing.

    This place is unprofessional, dishonest, and impossible to get accountability from. They will say whatever they need to in order to overcharge customers and keep the difference. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else.

    Amazing eye doctor’s office. The whole office is very helpful, patient, and care about you as a patient. I’ve been coming here for years. Nancy and Doctor Chhitwal are both great!

    Very disappointing experience. My visit ended up costing around $500 total, with about $300 covered by insurance, and I still paid roughly $200 out of pocket — only to leave with about 45 days of contact lenses. The cost felt excessive and was not clearly explained upfront.

    Communication was poor from start to finish. I was told my prescription and receipt would be emailed after my appointment, but I never received them and had to call back myself. It also took over 2 months to get my contacts, and I had to repeatedly follow up for updates. I was given inconsistent information, never received promised callbacks, and only after I started documenting the delays and miscommunication by email did the issue finally start getting resolved.

    After my experience, I looked through other reviews and noticed several people described very similar issues. This did not feel like a one-time mistake, but more like a recurring pattern.

    I would recommend going somewhere else for your eye care needs.

    Several years ago, I ordered glasses for my family from the Fairfax location and had significant difficulty obtaining them, requiring multiple follow-up calls. Due to the stressful experience, I decided not to return. Unfortunately, a few years later, I forgot about the prior issues and gave the company another opportunity.

    On February 2, 2026, I contacted the Fairfax location but was informed that the glasses we needed were not available there, so we proceeded to the McLean location and completed payment for the order. We were told we would be contacted when the glasses were ready and that they would be sent to the Fairfax location.

    Weeks passed without any communication. When I contacted the Fairfax location, I encountered several staff members who were discourteous and directed me to call the McLean location because that is where payment was processed. When I contacted McLean, I was redirected back to Fairfax. This back-and-forth communication was extremely frustrating and concerning.

    I requested to speak with another representative, and I was assured that the matter would be investigated and that I would receive a follow-up call. It has now been several months, and I have not received any update. I also emailed the regional manager and have yet to receive a response.

    We eventually had to travel to pick up one pair of sport glasses that were ready; however, we were never notified that they were available. As of today, we still have no information regarding the regular glasses from the February 2, 2026 order.

    Due to the lack of communication and unresolved order, I ultimately obtained glasses from Walmart Optical, where the process was efficient and communication was clear, with the glasses ready in less than two weeks.

    I am requesting the following:
    • An immediate update regarding the status of the outstanding glasses
    • An explanation for the lack of communication and delay
    • Appropriate resolution to address the inconvenience and repeated negative experience

    This situation has caused significant inconvenience and frustration, especially given that a similar issue occurred previously. I would appreciate prompt attention to this matter.
