The Northern Virginia Ophthalmology Associates office was beautiful and modern with a great children's play area on the pediatric side. It was clean and well organized and the staff was prompt and kind. We were seen exactly at our appointment time. Dr. Diora was so patient with my 5 year old at her first eye doctor's visit and had just wonderful bedside manner. The dilation drops burned so my daughter was on edge and very nervous about the rest of her appointment. On-time appointment. Good consultation with Dr. Martin about a lingering eye infection following cataract surgery. Some adjustment in prescription regimen. Hoping for positive results.

Dr. Martin is an excellent doctor and surgeon. Known him for decades. Very kind, patient and professional. I had some problems with my surgery and he has been compassionate and patient with my situation. His office staff have been been extremely helpful as well. However I have a comment on his surgical crew. I received light anesthesia during the surgery and I was very uncomfortable with a female member at the surgery who was blabbering away to Dr. Martin. Eye Sis a difficult process and I would recommend that policy is established so that staff do not unnecessarily try to draw the surgeon’s attention from the procedure.
