One of the best teachers I have ever met. Clear, concise, and patient. Sifu Doggett is the standard of what leadership and instruction should be. He has a passion for imparting his knowledge, while also always working hard to improve his own skills and abilities.
I have studied various Martial Arts on and off for a few years now and I wanted to continue training in JKD. I was initially skeptical that the online training would be beneficial however, Rob created an amazing, easy to follow on-demand course as well as set up a great weekly interactive live class. He is a great teacher with years of impressive experience. I have learned so much since joining the Academy. They also have guest teacher seminars which are incredibly practical and valuable. You will not be disappointed.
Friendly atmosphere, knowledgeable and helpful teachers, and a focus on implementation.From technical training to bag work to sparring, there is continuous feedback to help me improve.I absolutely recommend Chesapeake JKD if you want to learn practical fighting.
