Contacted this agency about a rental on rent.com. The woman answering the phone at 703-815-5700 collected the property address (with some difficulty--she seemed to have some trouble understanding me) that I was calling about. Then she refused to answer me about the availability. Instead asked for my name. When I gave first name only, she asked if she could have my last name. I politely declined and asked again if the property was available. She ignored my question again and asked if the phone number I was calling from was a good contact number (!). It's unfortunate that in this day and age, with the technology that exists, agents believe it's okay to go ghost on clients. I understand that it is a hot market and there is a huge competition out there. But when you continuously call, send texts and emails, trying to find out where your offer stands, and they still have no decency to respond, it really shocks me. I am hoping that no other home buyer has to go thru what we had to with G. Bailey. It was truly disappointing that this person couldn't address any of our messages.
