I am a 25+ year melanoma survivor and as a result of a move, needed to find a dermatologist to take over my care. Dr. Aslam highly recommended to me by a trusted neighbor and current patient. First visit was very good and Dr. Aslam gave me a great “top to bottom” checkup. I feel comfortable now knowing I have someone that will be extra careful given my melanoma history.
Dr. Aslam is always fantastic. He is patient, thorough, and incredibly knowledgeable. He really takes the time to make his patients feel comfortable. My husband and I wouldn’t see anyone else—he’s the best dermatologist around! My 7 year old daughter also saw Dr. Aslam recently to have a few moles checked out, and he was beyond kind and patient with her.
Dr. Mattay answered all my questions. She did a second “freeze” on my nose, as the little bump had grown back, but told me it is benign. If it does grow back a second time, she’ll do a biopsy. They were more conservative the first time, because it is the nose, and this time she zapped it more. I am confident in her judgment.
