Dr. Herbert is a truly exceptional dermatologist. She takes the time to review my entire history, remembers details from visits many years ago thanks to her incredibly thorough documentation, and makes sure my every concern is fully addressed in a single appointment.
Her care goes far beyond treating skin issues. She genuinely cares about both my physical and mental well being. She is my favorite doctor because she consistently makes the biggest difference in my overall health. Every visit feels thoughtful, unhurried, and centered on what you actually need. Dr Herbert is the best. She is patient, thoughtful, fully and carefully explains the procedure(s), does not talk "down" to the patient and holds the patient's best interests above all else.
Dr Herbert was referred to me by an ER doctor, whom I had seen for a severe rash. Dr Herbert was able to see me within a week. She biopsied the rashes and gave me medication that helped the rash, which had become infected, to quickly improve. Unusually for a doctor these days, she also emailed me daily after the visit, including over the weekend, and personally called me with the biopsy results. I felt her caring was genuine and impressive. The only negative about the practice is that it does not accept insurance, but they will give you all the receipts you need to submit your own claims. If you are okay with that, you will receive knowledgeable and personal medical care.
