I injured my shoulder a while ago and it never healed properly. A friend recommended Jevene Summers at Akamai Physical Therapy, and I was so impressed with her knowledge, skill and compassion. She did a thorough evaluation, recommended exercises to strengthen my shoulder, and performed a massage on the affected area that resolved all pain. Today I just was treated by Jevene Summers. I had back pain that started two months ago when I apparently injured myself coughing. I have been to my doctor, who assured me that I do not have a bulging disk or other serious issue and that everything looked normal. Still I had mild but nagging pain throughout my day, every day. Today when Jevene examined me she noticed that three of my vertebrae were slightly rotated. She firmly massaged the soft tissue in my back until she was able to get the vertebrae to slip back into alignment.
