Watch out for Kimball and Gary, would have left zero if able. We decided that we needed a new roof. The current roof was still in good shape and did not leak. We decided to go with Kimball Strickland and the stone coated metal shingle that he recommended. We purchased a lifetime metal shingle. The problems started at the tear off, our rain gutters were bent, mangled and barely hanging on, they were full of roofing nails and debris. I had asked before the tear off started if I needed to remove the rain gutters and was told I did not. When the old shingles were removed from the roof, black marks were left on the siding. Beware! Kimball Roofing’s work is low quality, they are anxious to sell unnecessary work and they are very willing to waste your time. Kimball himself came out to do the preliminary inspection for a small leak from an exhaust pipe exiting the roof. He inspected the roof from the ground but did not go on the roof or in the attic space. He said he would fix the leak, recommended replacing a visibly damaged turtle vent and recommended adding a ridge line vent. We rejected the ridgeline vent, because we had already added 4 turtle vents a couple of years earlier, which serve the same purpose and felt like we were being sold unnecessary work.
