When I first began my remodeling project with DreamMaker, I was told over and over again by friends that having a positive construction experience was impossible. “Just wait,” they said. “There are always problems.” After living through nearly three months of extensive remodeling, I can honestly say they were wrong.
My home was a hot mess before DreamMaker stepped in. The entire upper floor was gutted, walls were removed, new flooring was installed, and my outdated kitchen was transformed into a beautiful, state-of-the-art space. DreamMakers literally made our dream home come to life! My husband is a 100% disabled veteran diagnosed with ALS. We needed our home to be completely remodeled and made wheelchair accessible for him. Tammy, Ramon and Micah of DreamMakers displayed such compassion as they utilized their vast knowledge of design and construction to create a new home for us that is functional, as well as beautiful. Although working within the regulations of the VA Housing Grant could be frustrating and time consuming, Tammy, Ramon and Micah met the challenges with patience and determination.
