Critter One of Houston

I had a great experience with Critter One. They clearly communicated timeline, procedures, and expectations from the start, and there were no surprises with action or budget items. The technicians were prompt, courteous, and professional. Our infestation issue (rats) was taken care of, and we haven't had any problems since Critter One concluded work. Special shout-out to Jonah, Greg, and Justin for their hard work, and for being friendly and professional at the same time. They made the whole process stress-free.

Everyone I have dealt with at Critter One has been so kind, professional, and understanding. From my first phone call, Maria was very helpful and informative. Zach came out promptly and did a home inspection for the racoons in my attic and showed me pictures of entry points and damage then gave me a line by line quote. Today Gregg and Jonah came out, put an excluder on the entry point, set traps and sealed up all possible entry points. They also repaired all damages that the racoons did to the roof. They showed me pictures of everything they had done and were so polite and friendly. Once the racoons are gone, they will clean and sanitize the attic.
Each step of the way, each person has taken the time to tell me what they will be doing and ask if I have any questions. You couldn't ask for better service. I like that they use stainless steel grates and flashing instead of spray foam or wire to patch with. That is what made me choose them but their kindness, professionalism and staying on schedule has made me a huge fan. They also have a 15 month warranty on their work. I highly recommend them and I am so thankful for their help!

Critter One was the only company (out of 8 that I contacted) that didn’t try to sell me a quarterly service. They offer quarterly, but agreed to give me a single treatments for a reasonable price. Definitely 5⭐️

Discovered I had a live rats nest inside of our pool heater unit and called several pest control companies only to discover none of them would mess with it. Thankfully, the last pest control company I spoke with recommended Critter One. I called Critter One and they had Greg and Joan come out the same day. Fortunately, I knew where the nest was located and they came in, safely removed the nest and disinfected it. Greg and Jone were very professional, knowledgeable and worked quickly and efficiently. I highly highly recommend Critter One and would use them again, if needed. Thanks guys!!

Gregg came out initially and did a very well detailed inspection, he was very charismatic and confident in his solutions. After the inspection, we set up a plan he put together and I agreed on the price, which I felt was extremely reasonable.
The day to install all the wiring and to perform the sealing Gregg was on site on time and began work, the quality was amazing and I felt confident knowing my bat roommates will be evicted soon.
I decided to hang outside my frontyard that night and watch the bats leave the one way exit Gregg set up and man they were coming out by the dozens but unable to get back in even though they tried hard.
I did notice some areas where the silicone he used started to fall off, but not because of poor quality of work. The gap he was working against was big, combined with Texas humidity that silicone didn’t have a chance to cure and harden in place. No big deal, I still sent a message to the main critter one contact I have and it was no hassle at all, they came back out next day (under 24 hours) and I was greeted by Justin. I showed him my areas of concern and we both agreed the spacing was large enough to not allow the silicone to properly dry and cure. Gregg did install wire mesh behind the silicone so there was still a barrier. Justin reapplied more silicone and used the areas where the previous silicone was to anchor the new silicone onto.
My bat roommates are less noisy, probably because there are so few left which I hope leave tonight or tomorrow, but from the scheduler Maria, to my first expert (Gregg) to my second expert (Justin) my experience and satisfaction to this stressful situation is put to an ease. These guys are great!
