I have frequented Oak Park a handful of times. I found the staff to be very courteous and helpful. If you are a first time customer, they’ll even give you a coupon book which saves you money depending on the size of the order.
Why the 3 stars? The last time I had my clothes cleaned and pressed, the staff neglected to apply one of the coupons for $10. The lady at the counter said it was too late to apply the coupon and stated she’ll put a credit on my account for the next visit. She pointed to a book where she kept track of it. In an era of time when many companies place profits over people, I found this business to be different. As a first time customer the courteous lady that attended me was professional, and even explained their coupon book of great discounts. She immediately applied one to my first dry cleaning without hesitation. The facility is well maintained, clean, and welcoming. I must say you won my business on the first attempt. Just by doing what's right, and what should be the norm when referring to offering a service that leaves your clients with the sense that we made the right choice with choosing your service. This was my first experience with Oak Park.The staff was extraordinary in supporting my concerns and took the time to explain the process. Upon pick up, they checked my garments in front of me to ensure the instructions were followed. This is truly a professional organization that takes pride in what they do! They have just earned my business and I will continue to have all of my dry cleaning needs done here!
