Dave worked with me and my dog Higgins when I first adopted him. He was nervous around strangers and other dogs and would become fear aggressive. But working with Dave really helped me work with Higgins on His reactions and how he interacts with people and other dogs.

Dave is a very knowledgeable dog trainer. During my session he explained and demonstrated how to work on my dogs behavior issues of barking and snapping at unfamiliar people. The methods that Dave showed to deal with this issue worked and and I think my dog will improve as the training is reinforced. I will definitely recommend Dave to others needing help with dog training in the future.

My name is Dave Navarro. You can consider me a "balanced based" trainer. I offer in-home training and specialize in fixing problem behaviors stemming from both ends of the leash. Aggression, fear, anxiety, and excitability are all taught to our dogs by human interaction, and sometimes the lack of. Dogs will learn regardless of what we as owners do. Both direct engagement and indirect engagement play roles in their abilities to survive and succeed. Now whether that success is in our best interest or our dogs, will depend on how our dog perceives our relationship. I am here to help guide dog owners as they build on communication, trust, and respect. Lets gain clarity in our relationship with our dogs and ourselves alike.
