This was a great experience. I enjoyed a well made beverage or two. LaLa cut my hair exactly as I asked and had some fun conversations. Next time I will go for the more advanced service and see how it was. For a first time it was good.

My son has been hopping from barber to barber because I haven’t found one that knows how to work with his mixed hair and who makes him feel comfortable. I can say we have found our spot and barber with THE RUSSELL. He was welcoming, friendly and actually engaged with my son and had him smiling which is hard for strangers to do lol. The haircut was beyond amazing and my son finally said he liked his haircut. I have not one bad thing to say. So glad we found him!

If I could give zero I would. I asked for a flow cut and showed picture examples. Not once did garyn the stylist question and say he could not do it. We discussed keeping my son’s hair long to keep his curls…. Next thing I know he’s hacking away at his hair. My son leaves crying because he ended up having to have his hair faded and short cut. If you don’t know how to do the cut asked for then say that!!!!! A waste of 40 dollars and my son didn’t even get his hair washed like what was included in the price. Just over all a horrible experience.

I called to very specifically ask for a barber who knew how to do a flow haircut and was experienced in only shear work. They told me my son was going to be set up with someone different. Garyn didn’t have the professional decency to at the very least speak up and say he didn’t know how to do the cut requested. Instead he did it anyway and completely botched my son’s haircut. This cut was hideous. No apology no accountability no recognition that he had no idea what he was doing. For 40 dollars for a kids cut there’s an expectation of quality, expertise and professionalism that we did not receive at this barbershop.
