I grew up in New Braunfels and my mother lived there her whole life. Losing my mom was harder than I ever imagined. The staff at Sunset Memorial were incredible helping us get through this challenging time. We met with Howard Holderfield one of the directors and he is absolutely one of the nicest human beings I have ever met (that says a lot since I have worked in the medical, ministry and education fields, meeting lots of people). I am beyond impressed with the owners and staff here at Sunset Memorial Oaks. From the beautiful and peaceful areas to the caring director Howard who continues to give his time to volunteer for my seniors and the community for our veterans. Great people who know how to get you through a tough season helping families manage this process… they make families feel like you Are Family.

We had the pleasure of speaking to Howard we didn't get services because we don't live in the city but we had the best conversation with the manager Howard. He helped with a lot questions we had and helped with a lot of the worry's we had as we had to burry our sister and it being the first time going through this process. I did ask to speak to Howards manager to demand a raise because he went above and beyond to satisfy us a place to go to in our own city we do appreciate you Howard and hope this gets accounted for on your behalf.
