We've been seeing Dr. Kao now for several months, and we always look forward to our weekly acupuncture visits! We went to one place before this, and saw no improvement (my wife's pain actually got worse), but we've both seen great results here. She has also been very sweet and patient with my needle anxiety.
Despite what is plain and simply ignorance, which just means 'lack of knowledge', a lot of Americans are not familiar or even aware of the ancient and proven wisdom behind Chinese medicine. It can include but is not limited to cupping (amazing for muscle tension and circulation), tailored herbal blends in powder or pill form (far more advanced that anything you could buy over the counter) and of course acupressure and acupuncture which was my main reason for discovering AIMC. After suffering with debilitating migraine type headaches since I was a young girl, I have educated myself on various remedies and practices that might help; and felt like giving it a try once more....read full review
